HIPHOTONICS Loose Tube 150m Span ADSS Optical Fiber Cable is an all-dielectric self-supporting (ADSS) aerial optical cable designed for short-span overhead installations, with a typical maximum span of up to 150 meters, depending on installation conditions and mechanical loading requirements.

The cable can be manufactured with different fiber counts and fiber types, including G.652D, G.657A1 and G.657A2, according to project requirements.
The optical fibers are housed in PBT loose tubes, which are stranded around a central FRP strength member using an SZ-stranding process. Water-blocking materials are incorporated into the cable core to help prevent longitudinal water penetration.
Aramid yarns provide additional mechanical reinforcement, while the outer layer is protected by a UV-resistant black HDPE sheath.

*The actual allowable span depends on cable design, fiber count, installation tension, wind/ice loading, sag requirements and local environmental conditions. Commercial 150m-span ADSS products similarly specify the span together with defined loading conditions rather than treating 150m as an unrestricted value.
